The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it can be alarmed regarding the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of here infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every sassa day. The support level produced for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to help the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
